This stylish drop arm turnstile is motorised for higher throughput with near silent operation and enables automatic free passage in an emergency situation. The Centurion offers completely free and unhindered exit in an emergency situation as the battery power pack (which can be either built into the turnstile unit or situated remotely) unlocks the arm from the horizontal position and drops the arm down to a vertical position. The added benefit to this turnstile is the automatic reset once the arm has been dropped, as the mechanism rotates on itself and then drops the arm back into position.

Providing superlative indoor admission and entrance control, the Centurion also features low energy consumption and a virtually maintenance-free mechanism. It has been designed to be very imposing in size to hinder the opportunity for vaulting over the actual unit making it very suitable for stadiums, arenas, etc.

The motor driven turnstile synchronises the rotating arms to the speed of the person passing through. The drive is integrated into the main body, therefore allowing easy installation into new and existing buildings as there is no underfloor mechanism to install. The turnstile is controlled by a MLU 4V2 microprocessor logic unit and all internal parts have been treated against corrosion.
