The Astral is a full height motorised rotary turnstile for internal or external use. It provides control and ultimate security for areas where high security is paramount. The unit is still attractive enough to be suitable for stadiums and leisure centres and can be configured as single or bi-directional and in various heights.

The Astral adapts to the speed of the person passing through by means of pressure sensors and is ideal for areas requiring higher security. It allows for the secure closure of passageways and an anti backup device prevents rotor reverse rotation. The unit is constructed of brushed stainless steel and has front and side covers either of acrylic or safety glass. The Astral does not require guidance barriers or infra sensors and has the additional advantage of being equipped with a safety precaution against panic (moment release adjustable).

The Astral has 120 degree motorised operation and intelligent motion control which adjusts to the individuals users speed. It has responsive turning following the identification of a valid entry permit. The unit is available controlled in either or both directions and is microprocessor controlled so adjustable for all conventional reading systems. The unit free rotates on power failure or on activation of fire alarm. The Astral is delivered complete with control box and bi-directional unit.
